This site is dedicated to the memory of Alan Chappell.
Alan Chappell was born in Bexleyheath on 5th January 1937. Much loved by family and friends, he will always be remembered for his warmth, his kindness and a wonderful sense of humour to the very end. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday 17th February 2009 with Rita, David and Zuzi at his side. He will always be loved.

When a loved one's gone.
Those we love remain with us,
for love itself lives on.
And cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone...
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart.
For as long as there is memory
they'll live on in the heart.

Don't think of Alan as gone away,
his journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrow and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
Just think of him as living in the
hearts of those he touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.
